Myron De La Paz is an Associate in the Los Angeles office of the Forensic and Financial Consulting Services Group at Hemming Morse.  Myron’s experience involves matters regarding forensic accounting investigations, economic damages, and intellectual property disputes.

Prior to joining Hemming Morse, Myron worked in the Compliance Department at the Western Union global headquarters, where he conducted fraud and human trafficking-related investigations for the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) market and reported relevant findings to government authorities in those jurisdictions in German. Myron has also worked as a Business Development Manager for a European power line inspection company and for a surgical practice in Beverly Hills, CA. During his studies, Myron co-founded a company that provides software development services for clients primarily in the European market.

Myron has received two bachelor’s degrees; a B.A. in International Management from the Technische Hoschule Deggendorf (Deggendorf Institute of Technology) in Bavaria, Germany, and a B.S. in Legal Management with a minor in History from the Ateneo de Manila University in Quezon City, Philippines. In fulfillment of the requirements for the CPA credential, Myron has also taken accounting classes at Santa Monica College and is currently working on satisfying the other requirements for that credential.
