Rachel Hennessy is a principal in Hemming Morse’s Los Angeles office. Rachel has more than 15 years of litigation consulting and financial advisory experience related to accounting and fraud investigations, damages consultation and restructuring matters.  She has worked in a wide variety of industries, including financial services, banking, healthcare, manufacturing and technology, as well as municipal governments and sovereign entities. As a principal, Rachel’s responsibilities include managing all aspects of engagements, including planning and conducting fieldwork, preparing complex analyses, report writing and presentation, contract administration, and providing expert testimony for clients and attorneys.

As a Certified Public Accountant, Rachel has worked on forensic accounting engagements for the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Department of Justice (DOJ), as well as litigation engagements involving complex accounting issues and audit malpractice matters. She also has experience preparing damages analyses related to patent infringement, copyright infringement, false advertising, acquisition disputes, breach of contract and other business issues related to complex litigation. Rachel has also conducted numerous fraud investigations including Ponzi schemes, asset tracing, asset misappropriation, and re-creations of accounting books and records.
